To be clear, I'm referring to waxing a boat hull, and not your legs for cycling;-)
To wax or not to wax? I'm not sure I know for certain, which makes for a faster boat hull. I have always, been taught, to have a clean hull. Always washed and dried my boat after training and racing. Yet I have also seen crews, from time to time, generally before a major regatta, busy polishing and using wash & wax products on their boats. I have even seen crews wet and dry sanding, for a 'faster' boat hull surface . . .
